It is difficult to snack without ketchup. We use ketchup to dip almost all our snacks, from French fries to burgers. But do you know, at one time ketchup was used as a medicine for loose motions, indigestion, jaundice, and rheumatism? Earlier, ketchup was a mixture of mushrooms and fish. It was Dr John Cooke Bennet who added tomatoes to the ketchup. And it is this doctor who claimed that ketchup can be used as a medicine.
