The first lollipops were created by the cavemen some thousands of years ago. The cavemen used to collect honey with a stick. They didn’t want to waste the honey stuck on the stick and licked it directly from the stick. This was the first kind of lollipop. It was found that ancient Chinese, Arabs, and Egyptians all prepared sweets with fruit and nut and added honey to it and then inserted a stick through it. This became the flavoured lollipop.
